Boats will depart Veracruz on Sunday June 11th. and head to Tuxpan. The distance is approximately 125 NM. Most boats depart Veracruz at 10am and arrive in Tuxpan early the following morning. Boats will go about 3 miles up the river and anchor next to the Hotel Rio Parasiso on the north bank of the river.

Tuxpan lies 6 miles up the river. It is an important port for the oil industry in Mexico.
